Cool and Easy Drawings of a Bunny
Let's learn 3 ways to draw a bunny. Bunnies are cute and cuddly. When you think of a bunny, you think of Spring, Easter, and all the newly blooming plants and animals of the season. I'll show you three methods for how to draw a simple bunny in just a few easy steps.
I'll show you how to draw this bunny with a graphic tablet but you can also use these instructions if you want to draw it with a pencil and a sheet of paper.
This is a good beginner drawing project because the steps are easy enough for anyone to follow. I've made it even easier by adding a video below.
Do you want to learn how to make more digital drawings? Then you'll love my So Simple SVG course. In the So Simple SVG video course, you'll learn
- how to use a graphic design program,
- how to find shortcuts for the menu,
- how to draw using basic shapes.
By the end of the course, you'll know how to take your digital drawings and transfer them to your cutting machine so that you can make DIY t-shirts, mugs and tumblers.
I get commissions for purchases made through some of the links in this post. There is no extra cost to you. See my full disclosure here.
How to Draw an Easy Bunny
Of course, you'll need some art supplies to draw the bunny. Below you'll find a list of drawing supplies for two options, depending on whether you want to make a digital drawing or a paper drawing.
You may already have some of these items. If not, you can easily order them online from Amazon or Etsy. I have included some links below to shops on both of these marketplaces.
If you like making crafts, you can save your drawing as a cut file and upload it to a cutting machine like Cricut or Silhouette.
Drawing Supplies
Digital Drawing Supplies
Inkscape software program
Computer
Graphic tablet (like this one from Amazon (optional))
Paper Drawing Supplies
Drawing pencil
Drawing Paper
Art markers or Colored Pencils
Light Table for Tracing (optional)
My favorite graphic design software to use is Inkscape. It's easy to download, it's free to use and there is even an online svg drawing app version of it that you can get for free.
Crafts to Make with a Bunny
Want to try a few craft projects? I have lots more ideas for beginner DIY crafts that you can try.
If you have a Silhouette or a Cricut machine and a heat press, it will make it even easier to cut out. Imagine all of the crafts that you can make with the bunny drawing.
Like I mentioned before, when you save the drawing as a cut file, you'll be able to put it on t-shirts, glasses, cups and other blank items.
Since you like drawing, I'm guessing that you may also like making crafts and want to turn it into more than just a hobby. Find out how you can do that in my post about craft businesses to make money from home.
Before you go, make sure to save this to your favorite drawing board on Pinterest. Click the link below to save it for later.
Feel free to add a photo of your drawing to the pin so that I can see that you tried it.
